ABOUT GQLx

This project started as one of those 3AM ideas and somehow survived the reality of coffee the next morning. It then managed to hang around long enough making a nuisance of itself and taking up a statistically significant amount of time until it got to its present more-or-less usable state. Hopefully somebody other than me will find it interesting, useful or at least not terrible.

Originally it was intended just to be a convenient 'embeddable wrapper' around the Google spreadsheet API for those increasingly common occasions when an online spreadsheet was really handy as a quick-and-dirty shared configuration table or small data store.

But ... somewhere along the way it sneakily morphed itself into a user application that was kinda fun to use - and also turned out to be useful when you wanted to look at just a subset of the data on a spreadsheet or combine values from several worksheets.

Anyway, have fun with it - and I'll be very intrigued to hear of any applications you find for it.

Regards,

TS
